Genetics.

Our Wagyu herd is 100% fullblood black Wagyu (Kuroge Washu), recessive-free and DNA parent-verified by the American Wagyu Association. It is heavily influenced by the Tajima line, which is known for it’s marbling. We also strive to achieve a balance between milk & growth and marbling with each mating. For reference to a breeding guide, visit www.wagyu.org.

Environment & Husbandry.

Our cattle are pasture raised in an intensive grazing operation during weather permitting months and indoors during the winter months. Our daily interactions allow us to keep note of their condition while maintaining a hands-on approach to our operation and keeping our cattle comfortable interacting with us. Our intention is to provide a clean, quiet and humane environment in order to raise a naturally healthy animal without the additive use of antibiotics or hormones.

Embryos.

We have been utilizing artificial insemination and embryo transfer for over fifteen years and work closely with our embryologist, Dr. Benjamin Kenney.

We choose our donor females based on bloodlines, temperament and carcass quality of siblings and progeny and offer both conventional and female-sexed embryos for sale.

Our donors come from the famed JVP Chisahime 662, Hikokura and Yuriko maternal lines.
