WHAT IS “WAGYU”?

“Wagyu” literally means “Japanese cow” where “wa” means Japanese and “gyu” means cow. “Wagyu” refers to any of the four breeds of cattle that originated in Japan. The main breed in Japan is known as “Kuroge Washu” or Japanese black. Full-blood black Wagyu cattle, especially, are known for their superior meat quality and unique marbling characteristics.

Genetics.

Our Wagyu herd is 100% fullblood, DNA parent-verified, recessive-free black Wagyu. We added our largest crop of wagyu calves during the 2021 calving season, keeping our numbers over 100 head. We are one of the largest 100% full-blood black Wagyu farms in New York State.

Embryos.

We focus primarily on embryo transfer from our donor cows to grow our herd and we also have embryos available for sale. Contact us for more information on our current embryo inventory.
